Taawon (Welfare Association) is a non-profit, civic organization launched in Geneva in the year 1983, upon the initiative of a group of Palestinian business leaders and intellectuals. Taawon has become one of the largest organizations operating in Palestine and the diaspora camps in Lebanon, whereby it touches the lives of more than one million Palestinians on an annual basis, with half of these beneficiaries being women.

A Global Artistic Stand for Palestine: $1.9 Million Raised for Gaza
London’s Wembley Arena became the stage for an extraordinary act of cultural solidarity, as more than 12,000 people gathered for the Together for Palestine concert. The event, the largest of its kind in recent years, raised over £1.5 million ($1.9 million USD) to fund urgent humanitarian work in Gaza, where relentless attacks have left families trapped in catastrophic conditions and children facing unimaginable loss.

The Right to Education: Opening New Horizons for Palestinian Youth
Taawon, in partnership with the Charitable Health Development Media Program, has completed the Right to Education project in the West Bank, expanding opportunities for both school and university students and advancing the values of equity and knowledge.
