“Zakat expenditures are only for the poor and the needy, and those employed to collect it, and for bringing hearts together, and for freeing captives, and for those in debt, and for the cause of Allah, and for the stranded traveler — an obligation by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.”
(Surah At-Tawbah: 60)
In this blessed month of Ramadan, we invite you to contribute to transforming the lives of those in need in Palestine through your Zakat donations. With Taawon, you can direct your Zakat to support orphans, impoverished families, and students in Gaza and the West Bank, helping them overcome their hardships.
Are Taawon’s Programs Eligible for Zakat?
Yes, all of Taawon’s programs that provide support to orphans and the most vulnerable groups in Palestine are eligible to receive Zakat, in accordance with the fatwas issued by recognized Islamic authorities.
