The General Assembly is the highest authority in Taawon, consisting of 194 members who represent a distinguished group of Palestinian and Arab economic and intellectual leaders. The assembly convenes annually to review the organization’s work and approve its strategies, plans, and budget.
The Board of Trustees is composed of 20 members elected by the General Assembly every three years. The board is tasked with developing the organizations’s policies and strategies, as well as monitoring its performance.
The Board of Trustees oversees the organization’s activities through specialized committees, which include members of the General Assembly. These committees include the Audit and Compliance Committee, the Investment and Endowment Committee, and the Governance, Membership, and Nominations Committee.
