Memorandum of Understanding Between the Jordanian Royal Medical Services and Taawon to Implement Mobile Healthcare Solutions in Gaza

In a significant step to enhance healthcare in the Gaza Strip, the Jordanian Royal Medical Services and Taawon signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday, April 10, outlining the implementation of mobile healthcare solutions as part of the Mobile Health Clinics Initiative – Gaza (MHC).
The agreement was signed by Major General Dr. Yousef Zreikat, Director General of the Jordanian Royal Medical Services, and Dr. Tareq Emtairah, Director General of Taawon.
This memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties in providing urgent healthcare services in Gaza, both in the short and medium term, until the healthcare system is fully restored. Additionally, it focuses on supporting Gaza's health sector by building local capacities exclusively dedicated to advancing the Mobile Health Clinics Initiative – Gaza, including the establishment of a network of mobile health units (MHUs). These units will offer a range of medical services to Gaza's displaced population.
