Amman – February 5, 2025 – His Royal Highness Prince Rashed bin Al Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, welcomed representatives from Taawon to discuss ways to strengthen mutual cooperation and solidify the strategic partnership between the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization and Taawon. The meeting followed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties to support various fields, with a particular focus on initiatives that bolster the health sector in Gaza.
His Royal Highness emphasized the significance of these initiatives, particularly in addressing the pressing needs of the health sector in Gaza, reaffirming the Hashemite Charitable Organization’s commitment to supporting Taawon’s efforts in ensuring the success of these projects.
Mr. Saad Abdulhadi, Chairman of the General Assembly of Taawon, and Dr. Tareq Emtairah, Director General of the organization, provided a detailed presentation on Taawon's areas of work, which encompass economic and social development, relief, and humanitarian efforts, in addition to cultural and heritage-related initiatives.
In this context, Taawon presented His Royal Highness with its latest publication, an encyclopedia on the heritage and Mamluk era in Jerusalem, which will be launched as part of the event "Jerusalem in the Mamluk Era: History and Architecture."
Both parties agreed to continue coordination and joint efforts to enhance developmental, humanitarian, and relief initiatives and projects in collaboration with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization and relevant stakeholders.
