Taawon (Welfare Association) is a non-profit, civic organization launched in Geneva in the year 1983, upon the initiative of a group of Palestinian business leaders and intellectuals. Taawon has become one of the largest organizations operating in Palestine and the diaspora camps in Lebanon, whereby it touches the lives of more than one million Palestinians on an annual basis, with half of these beneficiaries being women.

Continued Efforts to Preserve Palestinian Heritage: The " Juthoorna" Campaign Launches in Nablus

Under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Mr. Hani Al-Hayek, and the Governor of Nablus, Mr. Ghassan Daghlas, and with the presence of the donor, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Taawon—through its Jerusalem Old Cities Revitalization Program —launched the "Juthoorna" campaign in Nablus at the Tell Balata archaeological site on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, in partnership with Nablus Municipality.
