Taawon and BuildPalestine Launch Strategic Partnership to Advance Creative Social Entrepreneurship in Palestine
Taawon and BuildPalestine have signed a strategic partnership to launch a joint initiative designed to strengthen social entrepreneurship and community-led innovation in Palestine. The initiative seeks to empower young Palestinian innovators and support the development of creative, socially driven ventures with long-term impact in their communities. The three-year partnership will guide the implementation of the Taawon – BuildPalestine Social Entrepreneurship Support Initiative.
The initiative is built on a progressive development model informed by BuildPalestine’s practical experience in nurturing early-stage social enterprises. Through this joint effort, entrepreneurs will be supported as they shape, develop, and grow their ideas. The partnership will also enhance BuildPalestine’s capacity to increase the number of creative social enterprises it incubates each year, while expanding the scope of its work and areas of engagement.
Taawon emphasized the importance of this collaboration, noting its alignment with the organization’s commitment to supporting youth-led innovation, advancing social entrepreneurship, and promoting creative solutions to community challenges. Dr. Tareq Emtairah, Taawon’s Director General, stated:
“We are proud to launch this partnership, which helps lay the foundations for innovative social entrepreneurship in Palestine. It will empower young people to transform their ideas into sustainable community initiatives that deliver real impact and meaningful solutions.”
Representing BuildPalestine, Lama Amr affirmed the organization’s vision for the partnership, saying: “We believe in the ability of social entrepreneurship to offer practical responses to daily challenges. This partnership with Taawon marks an important step toward developing and strengthening the ecosystem for social innovation and social entrepreneurship in Palestine.”
