About ISNAD

In Gaza, more than 88,000 university students have seen their education disrupted as over 20 universities and academic institutions lie in ruins. To respond, Taawon launched ISNAD—a national emergency scholarship initiative in partnership with Palestinian universities in Gaza and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. ISNAD aims to raise $16 million to provide 30,000 scholarships, enabling 15,000 students to resume their studies through distance learning. By covering tuition fees, ISNAD not only keeps students enrolled but also sustains Gaza’s universities and their faculty— preserving academic life and ensuring that education remains a cornerstone of resilience and recovery.
