In a powerful blend of art and compassion, visual artist Mrs. Saeda Elbitar Ghanem has donated a portion of the proceeds from her latest exhibition to support orphaned children in Gaza through Taawon’s Noor initiative.
The exhibition, held two months ago at the Diwan of the Abdul Hadi family and under the patronage of HRH Princess Wijdan Al-Hashemi, marked the culmination of four years of dedicated creative work. Elbitar Ghanem’s collection portrayed the human experience with deep emotion and imagination.
Her decision to contribute to Noor reflects a heartfelt commitment to social responsibility and solidarity with Gaza’s children, who have lost not only their families, but also their sense of safety and stability. Noor, a flagship initiative by Taawon, provides comprehensive 18-year care for children orphaned by the war, supporting their mental health, education, well-being, and social development.
Taawon deeply values this generous contribution, which stands as a powerful reminder that art can go beyond aesthetics, serving as a force for healing, dignity, and hope for those most in need.
