$100,000 Annually- Munib & Angela Masri Foundation Supports Gaza Orphans through the Noor Program

Taawon and the Munib & Angel Masri Foundation signed an agreement to provide an annual grant to support Taawon’s Noor Program- Gaza Orphans Care Program. The agreement was signed at Taawon’s headquarters in Amman, by Dr. Tareq Emtairah, Director General of Taawon and by Mr. Munib R. Masri, Founder of the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation and co-founder and Honorary President of Taawon, and Dr. Tareq Emtairah, Director General of Taawon. In attendance at the signing were members of Mr. Masri’s family, members of Taawon’s Board of Trustees, as well as management. 

Dr. Emtairah stated, “This partnership underscores our shared commitment to offering sustainable support to Gaza’s orphans through the Noor Program, which aims to provide essential services that guarantee a dignified life and a better future for these children, including food and clothing, healthcare, education, child protection, psychological support, and social care.”

Mr. Masri highlighted that supporting the Noor Program is part of the Foundation’s social responsibility towards Gaza’s children, especially the orphans. He emphasized that the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation has pledged to provide $100,000 annually for the program for ten consecutive years.

The Noor Program - Gaza Orphans Care Program was initiated by Taawon in 2023, in response to the war on Gaza, in partnership with Bank of Palestine Group. The program aims to support 20,000 children who lost their parents due to the war on Gaza, providing comprehensive services that empower them to live with dignity and become productive members of their communities, building a better future for themselves.
