Zamala university fellowship program
Zamala university fellowship program holds its first conference in Ramallah and Gaza. Over the past five years, Zamala provided 120 Palestinian academics with unique fellowship opportunities to prestigious universities and research centers around the world. Zamala program is implemented in partnership with Bank of Palestine.
Zamalah Innovations
Abeer Qotati, Al-Azhar University, is one of Zamala fellows. Dr. Qotati applied to join Phase three of Zamalah program, and her new project was about early diagnosis of breast and colon cancers. She was selected for a 10-month scholarship at the University Medical Center in Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), one of the largest and best medical centers in Germany.
Zamala: A program initiated by the Bank of Palestine (BoP) in partnership with Taawon to develop the faculty at Palestinian universities. Taawon is in charge of the program development, implementation management, and resource development in cooperation with BoP and other donors including The Arab Monetary Fund under the supervision of the Islamic Development Bank.
Zamala program helped me bring world expertise to Palestine and to innovate to serve humanity. Through the scholarship, I succeeded in discovering a new alternative and additional treatment for diabetics.
