Solar energy system for Patients’ Friends Hospital in Gaza
With the participation of local, international and medical institutions and personalities, Taawon opened the installed solar energy system that started running the departments of the Patients’ Friends Hospital in Gaza.
The project, which valued $160 thousands, generates around 42 kilo watt of electricity and runs most of the hospital.
Such achievement is project for running Gaza Strip hospitals on solar energy which Taawon is implementing and now working on running Rantisi Pediatric Hospital in Gaza.
Such effort is part of Taawon’s policy in contributing in alleviating the continuous power crisis in the Gaza Strip, enhancing the use of clean and renewable energy and achieving sustainable goals.
